Our Story

Our focus, as surfers and artists, is on providing creative and artistic value in everything we create. There is no better representation of California's "Santa Barbara" coast than SBSURFCO. We have created a space for anyone who is inspired by the coast. An ethically crafted surf brand that celebrates a diverse community of surfers, musicians, travelers, and artists.Through our brand, we hope to transform the way we interact with each other and make a positive impact on others.

Our Journey

We started our journey in a humble college bedroom loft and eventually moved our operations to the rooftop of our college house, where we began producing T-shirts and hoodies. This rooftop printing occurred before our company's Pre-Launch Party, which was hosted in Isla Vista at a friend's backyard. Our official company launch took place at a local college club on May 23rd. Today, we operate out of a private bedroom located in Goleta, California.

Our Dream

The ultimate goal is to establish a physical store in Santa Barbara that features a wide selection of locally sourced clothing, essential surf gear, and accessories. A local surf shop that serves as a central hub for the community, providing valuable resources on surf culture, music, art, and travel.

Our Sustainability

Taking a sustainable approach to business development has been an integral part of our company since the beginning. Growing up along the coast, we have been instilled with a deep respect for our natural environment. Due to this, utilizing as many environmentally friendly initiatives as possible was a no-brainer for us.

The packaging company we work with is environmentally conscious, and we're proud that we're providing sustainable packaging in our early stages. A major portion of our shipping and handling is done locally in Goleta, California. We will continue to work towards more sustainable initiatives as we progress and grow as a surf apparel brand. Additionally, we strive to bring more sustainable responsibility to the coast as we continue to develop as a brand.
